Bradford Brenner

Born June 9th, 1959 in New York City, NY to art collector parents. Bradford Brenner has been a professional artist for the last 34 years.  His work has been featured in numerous galleries, museums and art publications. His paintings can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the world. Brenner’s gallery and studio is located on the historic Plaza in Healdsburg, CA.

Brenner received his education from both University of California, Santa Barbara and San Diego State University. Collectors are drawn to the freedom and looseness that represent his unique style and highly spontaneous, multi-layered works.

Art, for me, is about creating a feeling that can be shared. It's about relationships. The relationship between light and dark, color and non-color, warm and cool, form and formless.

Most importantly, art is about the relationship between the viewer and the painting.

There is a universal feeling that I try to get to in each piece and use that feeling or emotion as the barometer to know when to put the brushes down. There is an interconnectedness between disparate components of a work of art, the way there is an interconnectedness between individuals, that in turn, binds them to something greater than themselves.
