BRADFORD BRENNER

Bradford Brenner served as Appellation Healdsburg’s August Artist-in-Residence, creating a month long immersion in art, conversation, and wine country hospitality at Travel + Leisure’s #1 Hotel in the Nation. The residency blended Bradford’s expressive, textural paintings with the elevated, terroir driven experience Appellation is known for. From its Charlie Palmer led culinary program to its thoughtful, design forward spaces.

A Month of Art, Community, and Wine Country Hospitality

Opening Reception: August 14, 2026

The residency launched with an unforgettable evening. Over 120 guests filled the lobby gallery for a warm, lively reception celebrating Bradford’s newest collection. Fat Dragon poured their exceptional Dry Creek Valley wines, setting a relaxed, luxurious tone as guests explored the work, lingered over conversations, and experienced the paintings the way they were meant to be seen! Up close, slowly, and with a glass in hand.

Paint With the Artist: August 20, 2026

Bradford hosted an intimate hands on workshop inspired by his signature floral studies. Guests began with a charcoal sketch, learned how he builds color and movement, and created their own 12” x 6” floral canvas to take home. Complimentary wine and Appellation’s warm hospitality made the afternoon feel creative, approachable, and deeply personal.

"Brad Brenner is the type of artist you fall for, totally unique and always a trend setter, never a follower. His style and creativity have evolved in wonderful, subtle ways over the years, yet keeping in touch with his identity and what his work has always been about, modern interpretations of people and life. The portrait we own by Brad is a treasured family piece and always with us to enjoy everyday. In this we feel we are not alone among his many admirers."
